ISLAMABAD:
A delegation from the political section of the US Embassy met PTI leaders to discuss the country’s overall political situation, democratic process and recent political developments.
According to sources, the PTI delegation was led by former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser and included MNA Barrister Umair Niazi.
During the meeting, the US Embassy delegation discussed political matters with PTI leaders and heard their views on the prevailing situation in the country.
The PTI leaders briefed the US officials on recent political developments, challenges facing the democratic process and the current political situation. They also conveyed their concerns regarding the country’s political circumstances.
The meeting covered the overall political environment, democratic affairs and other key political issues. The US delegation listened to the PTI leadership’s position and exchanged views on various matters.
